A nice hot relaxing bubble bath with aromatherapy bubbles, scented candles, soft music or a book, a nice glass of wine or hot cup of stress relieving tea (Celestial Seasonings makes one called "Tension Tamer " - it's GREAT!). Lock yourself away in the bathroom for at least an hour and let Calgon take you away... Don't forget the bath pillow!

Do a puzzle, take a chamomile Thea, practice some sport, take a long walk, swim, focus your glance in a candle or a rose, watch the fishes swimming in a river/ Cristal cage, take a hot shower...

Hot tubs always do the trick for me! Also, having someone you can talk to about stressful things, watching a movie, or even coloring a picture in a coloring book!(never too old for that)

Foods to eat (in addition to a low glycemic carbohydrate, moderate protein diet), 5 minute oatmeal and (separately) salmon. Hot baths or showers. A good book. Time away from everything where you can let the brain relax - and then maybe plan how to permanently relieve the stress.

Masturbation...And Im serios it has been known to take away stress because you are there alone with yourself please your needs..doin thing for syouself always helps...try to stay away from shopping cuz it will hurt in the end.

Sounds weird but rip up a nice thick phone book. With every few pages you rip just scream, let out whats stressing you. Do it when your alone though, so you can just scream.
