I really need something small. Something that i can do during class when stuff just gets too stressful. Like on Degrassi, when Ellie snapped the rubberband on her wrist. I tried doing that but it didnt work for me.

Healthy stress relieving method?
I shall use the example of today's science class. I walked in to find that we had a substitute teacher, I also do not like the sound of his voice. Some people weren't sitting where they are meant to be and there was 5 instead of the usual 4 in my row. The crows were going mad outside. This may seem like a perfectly normal maybe a tiny bit annoying situation for you but I have Asperger's syndrome and I was getting a bit stressed out by this point in time. I sat down in my usual spot next to my best friend who also has Asperger's . I put my earplugs in because I recognized that this lesson might be a bit tricky, my friend had forgotten his. We were taking a while to adjust to the new situation when the teacher who had no idea about our ASD walks up, he saw that we hadn't started writing yet and put his hands on the desk, lent towards my friend and I and and asked slightly shouts why we hadn't started yet. We instinctively froze up and didn't respond which got him more angry. He went away after a while and we started to " cool down" It was worse for my friend because he didn't have his earplugs and he was almost in tears. The teacher came back and had another go at us and my friend barely made it through this one without going into what we call " kicky screamy mode" He decided to go back to the SEP to prevent a full meltdown but I stayed in the lesson and the teacher now realizing that we have a problem didn't do it again.The thing with this situation is I came out of it with some pretty impressive bite marks on my left index finger because I bite myself when trying to stop myself from doing something kicky screamy mode relieve stress. The point of the story was to show that I need an instant relief rather than something like exercise. Does anyone know any methods that I could use in this or similar situations?
How is exercising stress relieving? It's boring.?
Why do people tell me exercising is stress relieving? I've gone to the gym, do jogging, but it does not help much. Sports is stress relieving, because it is fun. So how does exercise relieve stress for you guys? I want to hear your opinions. Maybe there is something i'm not doing right, thats why it is not stress relieving for me.
Would taking a stress relieving pill help prevent me from choking at the dentist?
I am only 14 but every single dental or orthadontal visit i ever had was unsuccessful. Every time i hear the words 'open wide' 'stick your tongue out', i just gag. I hoping my first successful dental visit will be next week but i think i chances are little to nothing. I'm afraid to even open my mouth. Please answer me and tell me what else i could do.

Hi, you kno those Ben Wa balls. I thought they were for relieving stress. You hold them in your hand and move them around. The sound they make and your mind concentrating on them helps you relax. Healthy stress relieving fitness routine ?
hi i want to start exercising. i'm seventeen, and really thin, but that doesn't mean i'm " in shape" necessarily.i become out of breath walking up the stairs and i think it's sad that i'm definitely not the only one in this situation, thanks, myspace. P i've also been enduring more than three anxiety attacks a day, so i'm hoping that exercise could help relieve me.do you know of a good routine that won't bulk me up, or thin me out, but just tone me up and keep me healthy ? thanks.

Lately I've been experiencing intense spurts of anxiety, and I constantly feel stressed. Emotional breakdown or just stress-relieving...?
I'm 15 years old only for about two weeks and I'm the youngest in my class and youngest in my school band the level you are at .I'm a year or two above the year I should be in, because I should be in S2 3 but I'm in S4. This means I've been forced to mature a little bit earlier than someone my age and that I'm in pretty advanced classes for my age. Not only am I in a higher year, but my class is Band 1 the highest band and I'm part of three accelerated classes as it is. I'm doing Higher Mathematics, Int 2 English and Int 2 French. The only thing wrong with me is that last night 21 02 09 I woke up crying. Not just tears, but sobs and hitching breath and the obligatory sniffling that comes with it. I couldn't calm myself down, and my mother ended up hearing me even though I tried to be quiet and calm myself. Eventually we sat down and talked about what was wrong and it turned out to be my French class.I can't do French. It doesn't work for me, and the only reason I got a " 1" in my accelerated Standard Grade class was because I revised for 2 hours a day for it With the rest of my Standard Grade classes' exams going on this year, and the stress of having the teacher who does not listen to problems when you present them, I can't spend two hours a day revising for a class I hate I actually went into hospital before the christmas holidays last year. Our jotters were handed in the week before, and handed back when I was off. So of course, when I returned after the holidays I asked for my jotter back. I got shouted at for asking for my own work back. The next time I asked, I got ignored, and the time after that I was told to stop asking and just work in my vocabulary book. I asked again today and she finally looked around her mess of a classroom seriously, it's a tip and then told me my jotter must be at home then gave me a replacement jotter. I actually went to my Guidance teacher at the beginning of the year, before our timetables were confirmed, and told her that I would not manage to do the accelerated class again this year, and that I would either have to be pulled out, or perhaps put BACK into a Standard Grade class. Safe to say I was told that I " would manage" and that if I was going to struggle that much then I would have to " cope" . My parents are obviously annoyed that I was ignored and that my teacher had lost my work which had, by the way, my entire writing project which I slaved over before the holiday which has to be re written and LEARNED for the Monday after next . Parents Evening will not be a nice thing for my French teacher.Anyway, now that you know the problem, I need a little advice on how to cope with the class and the stress and directed towards whether my sobbing spat last night was an minor emotional breakdown or just my brain's way of telling my body that I needed a stress reliever and to get the attention of my parents so that I could tell them my problem.Thanks in advance.Hey, thanks for the answer.My parents DID tell my Guidance teacher that they wanted me to be switched out of the class. We were.. I suppose tricked is the word, into the class. We were told that we were doing a STANDARD GRADE Course accelerated, and that was that. But of course, when we switched onto our fourth year timetables just before the holidays and found Int 2 French on there, most of the class were annoyed. We all complained and told our teacher that we were not told we would have to do another advanced class.My parents did try to pull me out, but in Scotland you HAVE to take a language until the end of fourth year. But what happens when the stress turns into an emotional melt down and that leads to depression? I'm stronger than most people and hardly ever cry, but when I do cry it kills me inside.How long can one person handle that?
